Reach customers right where they are.

Match IP addresses to physical locations and serve display ads to the networks that matter — delivering content based on exactly where your customers are.

Glowing location pin on a dark city map

Using signals like GPS, wi-fi, and IP addresses, we pinpoint precise locations and deliver targeted content to nearby customers — a restaurant, for example, could target passersby with a same-day offer.

It's one of the most efficient ways to reach local audiences, especially paired with our team's ability to create the eye-catching content that turns a nearby glance into a visit.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions.

What is geotargeting?

+

Delivering ads or content based on where someone actually is, narrowed to a country, region, city, postal code, or a radius around a specific point. For a business that serves a defined area, this is the difference between advertising and wasting money. A plumber covering three suburbs does not benefit from clicks two hundred miles away, and every one of those clicks is billed the same as a useful one. Geotargeting confines your spend to the area you can actually serve, which usually improves results without increasing the budget at all.

How does geotargeting work?

+

Platforms determine location from a combination of signals: IP address, device GPS, wi-fi network, and the location history a user has already shared with the platform. We then set the boundaries your campaign should respect and the messaging each area should see. Accuracy varies by signal, and mobile GPS is considerably more precise than IP-based inference, which is why targeting a tight radius works better on mobile campaigns than on desktop. We set the radius according to how your customers actually behave rather than drawing a circle and hoping.

What are the benefits of geotargeting?

+

More relevant ads, stronger local engagement, better return on spend, and the ability to run promotions that only make sense in one area. The less obvious benefit is what it lets you say. Once you know a viewer is in a specific city, the ad can reference that city, which measurably lifts response compared with generic copy. It also lets you treat areas differently: bid harder where you convert well, pull back where you do not, and run a specific offer around a single location without diluting it everywhere else.
