FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions.

I do not have a finished manuscript. Can you still help?

+

Yes. We can start from a rough idea and work all the way through to a polished, finished manuscript. Most business books begin exactly there, as expertise that exists entirely in someone's head and in the way they explain things to clients. The early work is structural: deciding what the book is arguing, who it is for, and what order the ideas need to arrive in. Writing is considerably easier once that skeleton exists, and it is where most self-directed book projects stall out.

Will the book be available in print and digital?

+

Yes. We format for both, so readers can choose what suits them. The two formats are genuinely different production problems: print requires fixed page layout, correct margins and bleeds, and a cover built to specification, while digital has to reflow across devices and text sizes. A file prepared for one and pushed into the other usually looks wrong. We prepare each properly. For most business authors, print matters for credibility, the copy you hand someone in person, while digital carries the volume.

Why publish a book instead of just blogging?

+

A published book carries authority and permanence a blog post cannot match. Both have their place, but they do different jobs. Blog content is found by people already searching, and it works for traffic. A book works as proof: it changes how you are introduced, it is the thing a prospect notices on the shelf behind you, and it opens doors to speaking and press that no amount of blogging does. It is also finite, whereas a blog is a commitment that never ends.
